THE DECK PROJECT

I'm hosting a very cool non-swap swap at IllustratedATCs called THE DECK PROJECT. 

Member participants begin with a deck of ordinary playing cards and alter one card per week for 52 weeks (one year,) creating a "deck" of original works of art.  Although most mail art projects result in swapped art, for this project, artists keep their decks.

The project runs October 2009 - October 2010.

I created a list of weekly themes for participants to follow if they wanted, but because this project is so personal, artists are free to create their own themes, too.  One member is creating an oracle deck.  I'm making a Loteria deck, myself.
