I'm part of an altered book swap at the site Marie Antoinette Mail Art, and these are the first pages I've done for it, in Round 1, for Becky S. The top photo is my 2-page spread, and the bottom is what I did for the sign-in page. I went with a slightly clean, contemporary feel and used a picture of Versailles I took myself, last summer.
There's just nothing like the satisfying feel of a big ol', fat, altered book in your hand, dripping with chunk and embellishment. Ephemera lust!
