Ornament swap
I made this little felted teddy bear head -- my first ever felted bear (I'm very proud) -- for an ornament swap at www.teddytalk.com. There's 20 gauge wire running through the finished head that connects it to a matte goldtone jingle bell dangling beneath, and I've tied a bunch of fun, colorful ribbon at the neck. Hope my partner likes it!
I received a really pretty icy blue and silvery white mini bear ornament from artist Kathy Taylor. It's hanging on my tree in a very special spot. So cute!

This was you first attempt at needlefelting??? Way to go Shel!!! You sneaky thing...beating me to it. I desperately want to try needlefelting as well, but you know...I am nervous about it and my index fingers already have this totally changed pattern if I get fingerprinted (many, many tiny holes everywhere),so what will these sharp needles do to my fingers...Totally awesome job you did! Hugs, Ellen

I love that I ran across your gorgeous first time felted bear when I was looking for felted stuff to oogle. Beautiful job on this!
