This makes me think of a line from Sister Act (the first one) when Sister Mary Clarance hears this phrase and thinks they said "insert some quarters"....

Ha! That's funny. I saw that movie, like, decades ago, and have no memory of what you just wrote being a part of it. I chose this phrase from a long list of Latin phrases I found on the web. But the mind does interesting things, and I'll bet I was drawn to using "sursum corda" (which I didn't consciously recognize) because I heard or saw it somewhere before. Maybe in that movie! There were literally hundreds of phrases to choose from and I chose this one. And how often is Latin featured in movies? Fascinating! Thanks for sharing this! ;)
